Critical Drawings

Using an inexhaustible imagination and a keen power of observation, he creates an extensive body of critical and grotesque images, mostly in watercolor and ink.

watercolors

Many of the watercolors depict scenes from everyday life or humorously address social issues that also appear in his posters. In these paintings, Schnackenberg often combines subtle irony with a strong sense of composition and color harmony, making his works both aesthetically pleasing and profound.
